Ruth HambergRuth Hamberg is the research associate with the Community Indicators Consortium, which was “organized in the belief that information sharing, collaboration and open dialogue — across geography and disciplines — are key to the advancement of people, the quality of community life and the sustainability of our shared environment.” The Consortium is building new tools and seeing new support from partners such as the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, which began contributing to this work years ago with their logic model and evaluation guides.

Ruth talks with host Steve Boland about the difference between a point of data and an indicator, looking at collective impact, and the fun of spreadsheet parties (well, sort of). Listeners are also referred to review the resources available from the Standford Social Innovation Review on this subject, and to follow the Consortium on Twitter.
