Cory McAbeeCory McAbee is a musician, artist, filmmaker and creator of such works as The American Astronaut and Stingray Sam. His latest project, the Small Star Seminar, required some different thinking about how to fund creative work, including how charitable contributions may become part of the mix.

Cory joins host Steve Boland to talk about how he evaluated the idea of creating a nonprofit for the project, and eventually settled on pursuing fiscal sponsorship as a way to reduce administrative overhead while still being able to accept donations which may only be available to nonprofit organizations.
