Lauren Kaufman is the President of the Young Women’s Alliance, and Bijal Patel is the Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Belonging of the Young Women’s Alliance. The Alliance is “building a community that supports, empowers, and connects women.”
Lauren and Bijal join host Steve Boland to talk about the changes in community building work since the COVID-19 pandemic impacted in-person events as a primary strategy. They talk about how their work has grown during this time, how they think about support for members online and in-person, and how adapting to new tools and tactics may impact the future direction of mission-based organizations.
